Suicide Squad

Opening Image: We open this the WB, DC logos and we are introduced to our 2 main villains deadshot and Harley Quinn and find out they are in a “special” jail.

Theme Stated: We see Amanda Waller walk out of her car and she talks about how superman died and she is going to protect the world now and she has a plan.

Set-up: We get a backstory all of the the characters of the team and how Amanda caught them

Catalyst: Amanda talks to the men in the white house about her plan, we get to see June moon turn into enchantress and she teleports and gets war plans from Tyron and Amanda’s plan gets approved

Debate: Amanda meets all the members of the team, rick doesn’t like them but Amanda uses the fact the she has his girlfriend in a coma and puts the bombs in the member’s heads

Break into two: Enchantress’s brother starts destroying the subway and they call for the suicide squad o get ready and go in there. So they gather them and put the bombs in their head.

B story: We have the joker trying to find Harley and doing a bunch of stuff and killing a lot of people to find her.

Fun and Games: When they get to the city they get into a firefight and we see what each character can do. They deadshot takes it by taking out like 50 of them.

Midpoint: The Squad gets to the building that the person they need is and start going to get them. They get into another firefight and them El Diablo takes it at the end by killing a lot of them. Then they get Amanda Waller out

Bad Guys Close in: They get to the roof and the chopper has been jacked by the joker so he can get Harley, he shoots the place up and disarms Harleys neck bomb and she jumps onto the chopper

All is Lost: After the choppers with Harley and the chopper with Amanda are shot down, deadshot finds out about everything and at the same time, enchantress had Amanda and gets her heart back. The team decides that they don’t want to do it and they have a talk in the bar.

Dark night of the soul: We find out some backstory on how el diablo killed his family and how enchantress got away.

Break into Three: The squad decides to help save the world and defeat enchantress.

Finale: They get to enchantress and start fighting, el diablo takes on her brother by himself and they blow up the bomb under him, killing her brother and el diablo. Enchantress’s weapon completes and she starts destroying major military places using Amanda’s mind. Enchantress then starts fighting the whole team at once and she is to powerful. Enchantress then gives them one more chance to surrender and Harley does but she tricks her and cuts out enchantress’s heart. Then they blow her and the weapon up.

Final image: In the end, we see all the members of the squad in their cells with a little better lives but it’s still ail. Right at the end we see the joker break in and get Harley out of jail. setting up for another film.

Final Reflection

This year in e-Communication I learned a lot about animation. I haven’t been the best at all of it, and I might have fallen behind quite a bit. But I did learn a lot. I think the subject that I learned the most of was special effects. This was one I was looking forward to and the one I did the most work in. I liked learning how to use Maya and After Effects. I have also learned more about working with a group.  During the final project, I learned that I am good at taking charge of something like that.

We learned mostly everything we did in this class from the teacher showing us how to do it and then we have to replicate that in our own way. We can ask for help along the way and if we needed to, the teacher would re-teach something if we really needed it. I would have liked it if this teaching process was a bit different, but overall, it was ok.

Why is this important? Well I am going into video next year and I think that the things I learned in this class will help a little in that class to. I may be able to add a 3D object to a film or even add some special effects. I think that with what I have learned in this class for just one year, will maybe even help me get a job later on in life.

Well I have a lot of weaknesses when it comes to animation. At the beginning of the year, I didn’t get anything turned in, and if I did, it was either late or not very good. But now in second semester, I have been doing a lot better in getting assignments turned in on time. Yes, there were 1 or 2, but the ones I did turn in have met in expectations of the project. I might not be the best at this class, but I have improved quite a bit in my opinion. When it came to the final project I was assigned with making some of the special effects. I did a lot better job than I thought I was going to do.

I don’t know if I am going to use the things I have learned in this class to much. I may or may not use it in Entertainment next year. But I might be able to use it if I did YouTube of professional video later on. My dad also does Internet marketing and says he would love for me to for some of the things I learned for him as well.

There are a few things I would change about this class. I think that the current teaching method. I think that instead of the current teaching method of showing us the entire project on screen and the telling us to recreate that, I think we should go step by step as a class. That way nobody falls behind and gets confused.

I liked this class because I had lots of friends in it. The content was fun to learned but I could get frustrating at times. The teacher is funny and I love the e-Communication program and I cant wait to go on with it. Thanks for a great year.
